Timings. Speedboats run 9 AM – 1 PM from Havelock Jetty (~4 hrs on the beach). Cruise day trip reports 10 AM, returns 3 PM. Mornings = best visibility.
Carry. Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, waterproof pouch. Lockers (₹50), changing rooms and snack stalls operate on the beach.

How do I reach Elephant Beach?
Only two ways: by boat from Havelock Jetty (speedboat or the cruise — both bookable here) or a ~2 km jungle trek from the Radhanagar road. There is no road to the beach. The boat is the reliable option; the trek closes in monsoon and depends on tides.
What are the timings?
Speedboats depart Havelock Jetty between 9 AM and 1 PM and you get about 4 hours on the beach. The cruise day trip reports at 10 AM and returns by 3 PM. Mornings have the calmest water and the best reef visibility.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation until 48 hours before your trip. Within 48 hours, a 50% fee applies. If the operator cancels for weather, you get a full refund or a free reschedule — your choice.
I can't swim. Is it still worth going?
Yes. The snorkel dip is guided in shallow water with a life jacket, the cruise's glass coral deck needs no swimming at all, and the sea walk is built for non-swimmers. Many families go exactly for these.
Do children pay?
Children under 2 travel free. Ages 2 and above are charged the adult rate (seat and safety-gear rules on the boats).
How much do I pay now, and how much on arrival?
You reserve online with a flat ₹200 per person — that locks your seats and gives you an instant voucher. The balance (package price minus your ₹200/person) is paid directly at the Havelock Jetty boarding counter when you arrive. Example: a ₹1,250 speedboat for 2 people = ₹400 now, ₹2,100 at the beach.
