How to book the Baratang cave itinerary

Can you return to Port Blair the same day?
This combined ferry booking does not return to Port Blair. It takes you onward from Baratang to Havelock. If your accommodation is in Port Blair that night, do not book it expecting a return transfer.

Road and government-ferry options have their own schedules and requirements; this page does not confirm a connection for your date.

Spend your first night in Port Blair, take this sailing the next morning, and continue to Neil Island or back to Port Blair later in the trip. Do I need to drive through the Jarawa reserve to see Baratang?
Not on this ferry. The Makruzz Pearl sailing goes by sea from Port Blair to the Baratang jetty, so it does not use the Andaman Trunk Road convoy that road trips take through the tribal reserve. The Limestone Cave visit included in the combined itinerary starts after you land; follow the operator’s instructions for the visit and the return to the jetty. Can I see Baratang and reach Havelock on the same day?
Yes. That is what the combined itinerary is: depart Port Blair at 5:45 AM, visit the Limestone Cave during the Baratang stop, leave Baratang at 12:00 PM and arrive in Havelock at 1:30 PM in the checked schedule. Book it by searching Port Blair to Havelock and choosing the via-Baratang departure; the ferry-only Port Blair–Baratang ticket does not include the onward sector.
